Yahoo Sports Profiles 'Hardwork' July!

One of the leading names in the boxing media -- Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports has put together a very nice profile of Suitland, MD cruiserweight Venroy "Hardwork" July.  Iole talks about July being a true "triple threat" as a corporate lawyer, pro boxer and promoter.

July (16-1-1, six KO's) will be headlining a self-promoted show for the third time (he's promoted other cards where he did not compete) on Saturday, April 12 at the Patapsco Arena in Baltimore, MD where he will take on undefeated Quantis Graves of Beaumont, TX (9-0-1, four KO's) in an eight-round bout.

Here is the link to the article.  Let me say that Iole told me and the world via Twitter that he was very impressed with July.

  1. It's amazing that July is able to do all of these things. I always thought the lawyer thing was B.S. but for Kevin Iole to mention the law firm and that July went to Duke Law! Wow! Blew me away! It's not like he went to Crackerjack Box State U or something, the man went to Duke! Wow! And being the 5th fastest on his track team in Jamaica. That's like saying you're a world class sprinter. Wow! What an athlete. And Jamaicans are known for their work ethic. Three jobs isn't uncommon for them and July has 3, fighter, promoter, lawyer. Impressive young man and great role model!

  4. I've been hearing Dusty fighting May 9 in Dover. And he might be defending his belt. Can you confirm that Gary?

  5. That is being worked on but is not definite yet.

  6. Gary, as far as your tumor is concerned, if you ever want to get it fixed without all the radiation that can cause other problems, I have two guys for you.

One is local and one is far away. The local guy is Dr. Ian Noel. He is the truth. Just ask around. No medicine, no vaccines, no needles or blood draws. Just real eastern type of treatments. Not western medicine.

I also challenge you to watch YouTube videos of a guy named Dr. Sebi. He got Michael Jackson off of drugs for a while (until Mike didn't want to pay him) and he was seeing Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez before her accident. Watch his videos and learn. Johns Hopkins is cool but they treat the symptoms, not the cause.

  7. Is Jimmy Lange retired or is he coming back this year after taking 2013 off because of knee injury?

  8. Thank you for the insight on my condition. Also, I have heard that Lange is back in the gym and may do something in the fall.

  11. The April 12th pro boxing show at the Patapsco Sports Arena in Baltimore is going to be a great show - I heard 8 or 9 fights. See you there next Saturday!
