Dominic Wade scored a solid second-round TKO over Marcus Upshaw. After a first round where Wade put on good pressure on his opponent, he finished the job with a beautiful right hand that crumpled Upshaw to the canvas. Upshaw beat referee Mark D'Antillo's count but was ruled unfit to continue. The bout was stopped at 2:41 of the second.
Wade is now 15-0, 11 KO's. Upshaw drops to 15-12-2, seven KO's.
Scheduled next: D'Mitrius Ballard of Temple Hills, MD (4-0, three KO's) battles Quincy Miner of St. Louis, MO (3-4). Six rounds, super middleweights.
