Beltway Amateurs Advance To National Silver Gloves; Kenney Captures Youth Open Title in Reno!

This past weekend, a number of Beltway amateurs made significant strides in their amateur careers.  At the Regional Silver Gloves held at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, MD, 16 boxers advanced to the National Silver Gloves which will be held in Kansas City, MO January 30-February 1.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, Alexandria, VA boxer Iesha Kenney captured gold at the Junior and Youth Open championships in Reno, NV.

Kenney moved up to the 141-pound division and defeated Selena Acosta of Fresno, CA by a score of 3-0 to win the Youth Female title.
