Beltway Boxers Antoine "Action" Douglas and "The King's Son" Jerry Odom notched knockout victories tonight at BB King's Blues Bar and Grill in New York City.
Douglas, a middleweight from Burke, VA scored a third-round TKO over previously undefeated Colby Courter of St. Joseph, MO. According to reporter JR Jowett, the two men engaged in a slugfest in the first round. Douglas rocked Courter with a right hand near the end of the round. By the third, Douglas was punishing Courter and dropped him with a right hand in the third. The bout was stopped at 1:12 of the round.
Douglas remains undefeated at 11-0, seven KO's. Courter is now 4-1, four KO's.
Odom, a super middleweight from Bowie, MD, kept his first-round knockout streak alive with a win over Eric Moon of Grand Rapids, MI. Odom dropped Moon three times before the bout was halted at 2:47. Odom is now 6-0, six KO's, one NC while Moon is 1-4.
