Todd Wilson wins a four-round unanimous decision over Reggie Nash. Not the prettiest bout you will see as there were some head clashes throughout. Wilson dropped Nash with a right in the second round and wasn't really challenged the rest of the way. The scores were 40-35 across the board.
Wilson is now 15-0, four KO's while Nash falls to 10-34-1, two KO's.
Post-fight coming up. For now, good night from Springfield!

Todd Wilson is back. After months of nagging injuries, surgery and various distractions, this was an important fight for his return to the ring. Thanks to his team, family, friends, and fans for their confidence and support. You will see an improved boxer in Todd in his next fight.
ReplyDeleteWhat a BUM!!! Why dont' he fight Jose Roman again? Scared he got KTFO again? What a bum!
ReplyDelete15-0 and stilll fightin 4 rounders. I could fight a 4 rounder in my sleep after a ten year layoff!
I agree. Wilson should have at least fought in a six rounder against a little better opponent. Hopefully now that he got the rust off after long layoff he fights Andrew Farmer next
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your win Todd!!!Glad to see Bruce and Staunton Boxing still going strong. That's why a lot of ppl don't make it they make wrong career decisions, that was smart to come back slowly to see where your at.Another win closer to bigger fights.
ReplyDeleteTodd Wilson VS Andrew Farmer
ReplyDeleteGary what do you think of a fight between Todd Wilson and Andrew Farmer?
ReplyDeleteIt would be a good one but I'm not sure it would happen. There are a number of connections between the two camps.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Virginia fighters when is Jimmy Lange going to fight again?
ReplyDeleteHopefully in February, if he's healthy.
ReplyDeleteThe negative comments about Wilson are not coming from our camp.
ReplyDeleteWe have stated in the past how we feel about a fight with Wilson.
Scott Farmer
How do u feel about a fight with Wilson?
ReplyDeleteI seen andrew & edgar spar at Leo's and both of them will beat the shit out of Wilson.
ReplyDeletesign on the dotted line and make the purse winner take all.
ReplyDeleteThat's how we feel about a fight with Wilson.
The fight needs to be in west Virginia or Maryland because you see what happened in VA.
S.F.
November 15 in Westminister, MD!
ReplyDeleteThat's unrealistic to have winner take all purse because a fighter could work his ass off preparing for the fight and get robbed by judges which happens all the time and not have a penny to show for all the hard work. A 60/40 or 75/25 split of purse to the winner would be more realistic and make more sense. I know you would be furious if it was your son who got robbed and had no money to show for his hard work in camp.
ReplyDeletewhy fantasize over this wilson will never fight somebody good.I go to abgc and I never see him working out hard there the only peson I see is edgar week after week he needs to leave leo and fine a better trainer.
