As you know, I was not at the card in Millersville.  Let me thank Juan Marshall for the yeoman job he did last night in covering the card for both his blog and mine.  It was a tough position I put him in and I apologize publicly for that.  We will make adjustments for next week's card in DC that will have you go to ProAm Fight Talk first before you come here for the results.  Also, thanks to DC Boxing Hall of Famers "The Fight Doctor" Jerome Spears and Henry "Discombobulating" Jones for their assistance.

Not being at the card made me deeply appreciate the live blogging that we do for the bouts.  I was able to keep abreast of what was going on with the show in a very timely matter.

In a few weeks, I will make an announcement that will alter much of what we do at many of the cards going forward. Much of this is set but there are some last-minute details to work out, so I can't make the announcement yet.  The announcement will be made by the end of this month.

  1. I wish there was a card where the two best fighters in the DMV in each division fought each other. Most card in the beltway consist of early ko's and unanimous decisions with prospects building up records against bums. Imagine how good this card would be with competitive fights.

  3. If you look up a post I did years ago called "Can the Beltway have its own Supercard?" or something to that effect. This is something that has been talked about for quite some time. The problem is the number of egos involved, not to mention the money involved.

No way Alex wins a decision against Nick. Sigmon can't punch a luck no way he beats Phil, and definitely no way he knocks him out. Barnett stops Spivey easy. You are insane if you think Rivers would last 2 rounds with Russell in a ring with no headgear and 8 oz gloves on. And how do you not include Manny in this he is in the top five of all fighters in the area

  8. Sigmon you had to be the one to put this list together.
Who the hell in their right mind would put you on this list other than you.
Quit trying to keep yourself in the mix by including your name with these very good fighters
You are a deceiving fucking busy body who is trying to make money
in the sport any way you can.
let somebody else pick your opponets without you calling the opponent and working some kind of deal.

P.S. Manny is the man,he has proven it more than once
