  1. Do you know how much it is at door? And why are fighters more than 10 pounds apart?

  2. $60.00 at the door and I bet you that the red corner wins every fight!!! LMFAO

  3. A lot of these bouts were made at the very last minute. Some were changed around at the weigh in.

  4. Hopefully the red corner or everybody on the left does win but arr you sure its 60 at door

  6. Why are some of the fighters 10 or more pound different in weight. Tell me thats a misprint. Either a misprint or a very unsat commission that would allow that sort of thing to happen.

  7. and I'm not talkin bout the heavyweights. I'm talkin 129 vs. 140, 125 vs 135...what kind of garbage is that!

  8. even 120 vs. 126 and 143 vs 149! What is this garbage! Most commissions have a rule that if fighters are not within at least 4 pounds of each other, they aint fightin. This commission a JOKE!!! I wouldn't go to this show if it was free! Who was the matchmaker for this show? Brian Dillon?

  10. I feel for you Gary. You love boxing. You know boxing inside and out. You are a gentelman and a man that doesn't want to ruffle feathers. But I know deep down in your heart how you MUST feel about this absolute disgrace of a boxing show. So I'll say it for you. The Promoter should be ashamed, the Matchmaker should be ashamed. The Boxing Commission should be ashamed. This the most pitiful, disgusting, sickening display of absolute garbage that I have seen in a while. Sadly, I can't say ever or a long while since it seems that cards like this are commonplace these days. The girl's fight may be competitive but that's about it. I know you want to say these things Gary and I know that you can't but the people in charge of this event are nothing but pimps and their whores are the blue corner "boxers" and anyone ignorant enough to give one red cent for this absolutely dreadful exhibition of pure filth. The commission should be dissolved for allowing such a putrid set of matches. This is a great sport and it deserves respect. Does anyone thank this card respects the sport of boxing?

  11. Brian dillon isn't not the matchmaker

  12. Brian Dillon would not allow a contracted 8rd fight now magically become a 10rd title fight. Please do not attach my name to this.

  13. Good luck to the guys and glas

  14. Whats wrong with a contracted 8 round fight becoming a 10 rounder? If both fighters agree on it and are paid for the additional rounds, there's nothing wrong with that. Thats a stupid comment coming from someoene that I would expect to know better. At weigh ins, sometimes fighters are asked if they want to do more rounds, upgrade to co-main, main event, etc.

  15. But they were not asked not compensated

    ReplyDelete
  16. then thats just illegal in that case. Unfortunately in boxing, there are alot of boxers/managers (I'm sure these guys showed up by themselves) dont know contract law, so they are moreless told what to do. I encourage all boxers to know contracts and the laws surrounding them.

  17. Logically what you're saying might make sense in the corporate world but in boxing a contract is only as good as the commissions involved and infortunately at this level of pro competition the commissions don't give a flying fuck. Especially in DC.

  18. Do you know who promoter is? In trying to get a last minute credential for a writer.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'm sure they're giving admission away to writers tryin to get entry. They'll take any press they can get, these POS promoters/matchmakers for this show. BUMS!

  20. It's G Promotions. My suggestion is that you get there early and talk to the staff.

  21. Brian,

Are you talking about Tony Jeter vs LeBlanc from 8 to 10? Jeter's paying the bout right? He probably needs a 10 rounder scheduled for his ranking. He's playing games.

  22. Was home Friday night watching showtime fights a kid by the name Bunson from i think albany ny, defeat a ranked fighter on short notice why because he was the better fighter the other fighter was ranked no 4 or something by the wbc? That is the same thing that is going to happen to fighter like tony jetter for u cant buy a title fight or better yet yes u can but u will see the end results
