Update on June 15 Convention Center Card!

There are a few changes to the Top Flight Promotions card on Saturday, June 15 card at the Washington Convention Center.

First, Alantez Fox is off the card and he is replaced by debuting middleweight Monreco Goldston of Salisbury, MD.  Goldston is slated to face Darryl Fields of Akron, OH (0-1).  Fields made his pro debut in Fairfax, VA on October 27 and was stopped in the first round by Jerry Odom.

The opponent for DC heavyweight Danny "Smooth" Kelly has changed.  Kelly (3-0, three KO's) will take on veteran Rayshawn Myers of Cleveland, OH in a four-round contest.  Myers (5-16-1, three KO's) replaces Chuckie Brown and is coming off a four-round unanimous decision victory over Ryan St. Germain on April 12 in New Buffalo, MI.  Myers will be competing against a Beltway Boxer for the fourth time having lost unanimous decisions to Nick Kisner, Venroy July and Alex Guerrero.

Also, undefeated Waldorf, MD junior welterweight Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed will be facing a different foe on June 15.  Nalo Leal is out and the debuting DeMarcus Rogers of Nashville, TN is in to face Reed (2-0, two KO's) in another four-rounder.

The weigh-in is open to the public and will be held at the Convention Center on Friday, June 14 at 6 PM.

  3. I feel sorry for Ty promotion Debut, because he's gonna take a lost on this show... He don't have no marketable name fighters on this show.... DC promoters need to start pitting local fighters against each other like in the amateurs, forget about losing... A lot of these fighters not gonna make it far anyway so y'all mite as well get exposed early at home... & find something else to do besides fighting pro, you may be a terrific trainer...

  4. Ty himself very marketable, rivers, reed, Grayton all highly marketable. National champs galore.

  5. You say they marketable, because they sell 1 hundred tickets locally... I bet they won't sell any tickets far away from DC!! & if you don't sell tickets on Keystone Promotion then your not on there show... Keystone some real pimps!!!

  6. You forget about the concept of the "franchise" boxer. We have a number of boxers that can build a fan base in the area before they branch out. As Brian said, Kevin Rivers, Ty Barnett and David Grayton are marketable boxers and Mike Reed is already building a solid and vocal fan base.

Why don't you try and become one WITH the fan base instead of downing it before the card happens?
