Douglas (7-0, five KO's) is coming off a first-round knockout of Coy Witt on May 10 in Miami, OK. Douglas will be competing in his sixth bout of the year. King (11-8, five KO's) broke a two-bout losing streak with a third-round knockout win over Anthony McManaway on February 16 in Indianapolis, IN. Douglas will be the eighth undefeated boxer King has faced in his career.
Now thats what I call steppin up, and steppin up smartly. Good for Douglas, he is learning on the job and fightin worthy opponents at the same time, not a bunch of bums. He will go much farther alot faster than others in the DMV who are more protected because of this.
