A number of local boxers are competing in the USA Boxing Junior Olympic Regionals in Chesapeake, VA this weekend.  Here are the first-round results (thanks to Ricky Womack of PVA Boxing):

11-12 years

80 Pounds:  Chima Okuro (SAA) over Hunter Burke (WVA)

13-14 years

80 Pounds: Kavon Robertson (VA) over Malik Warren (SAA)

90 Pounds: Adam Calixto (SAA) over Sequan Epps (PVA)

132 Pounds: Umar Ali (PVA) over Alijah Williams (SAA)

15-16 years

125 Pounds: Martino Jules (MAA) over Cortez Dargin (PVA)

125 Pounds: Troy Isley (VA) over Ivan Calixto (SAA)

110 Pounds (Female): Mydia Alunso (MAA) over Jennifer Datshawn (WVA)

132 Pounds: Tyshawn Wilson (VA) over Zachery Arvelo (AMA)

138 Pounds: Mark Dawson (MAA) over Joseph Veazey (SAA)

154 Pounds: Richard Foxwell  (SAA) over Dalton Pullens (WVA)

176+ Pounds: Malik Titus (SAA) over Fabian Valentin (MAA)
