Palmer Park, MD junior lightweight Kevin "K-Smoov" Rivers, Jr. stops Carlos Alcala of Hillside, IL at 1:39 of the third round. Rivers threw some solid body shots and uppercuts throughout the contest that dropped Alcala twice in the second. A strong flurry forced the bout to be stopped at 1:39 of the third round.
Rivers is now 6-0, five KO's. Alcala loses his pro debut.
