DC 114 Pounder Malik Jackson has advanced into the finals of the Elite Men's Division in his weight class today at the USA Boxing National Championships in Spokane, WA today.
Jackson won a 2-1 decision over Eros Correa of San Jose, CA. Jackson will face Shawn Simpson of Chicago, IL in the title bout. Simpson won a 3-0 decision over fellow Chicago boxer Cristian Williams.
Just to recap: Beltway Boxers will be in two title bouts tonight and seven championship contests tomorrow. Dara Shen of Arlington, VA will be in the Elite Women's 178 pound title bout on Saturday.
