Temple Hills, MD super middleweight D'Mitrius Ballard opened the card at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY with a second-round TKO over Marcus Clay of Baton Rouge, LA.
Ballard dropped Clay twice with right hands. After the second knockdown, the bout was halted at 2:21 of the second.
Ballard is now 2-0, two KO's. Clay is 2-6.
