Kennedy Drops Split Decision to Yorgey in Valley Forge!

Windsor Mill, MD middleweight "Relentless" Julius Kennedy lost a six-round split decision to Harry Joe Yorgey of Bridgeport, PA Friday night at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Valley Forge, PA.

According to reports, Kennedy pressured Yorgey against the ropes early but Yorgey came on in the final two rounds.  Kennedy did enough to win on one judge's scorecard, 58-56.  Kennedy lost on the other two cards, 58-56 and a seemingly disjointed 60-54.

Kennedy's record falls to 7-4-1, three KO's.  Yorgey's record rises to 26-2-1, 12 KO's.

  4. The judge that had if for Yorgey 6 rounds to 0 was James Condon A.K.A. Meatball. I hope he was fired. He also had George Rivera losing every round to Keenan Collins in their first fight. I'm sure if there was a Philly or PA fighter in with someone from out of state, Condon went for the home guy. Let's hope he's done for real. He's the PA equal of Kenny Chevalier.
