Quarles Drops Unanimous Decision in Indio!

Alexandria, VA middleweight Brandon Quarles lost an eight-round unanimous decision to undefeated Daquan Arnett tonight at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA.  The bout was shown on Showtime's ShoBox: The New Generation.

Quarles got Arnett's attention in the third round but couldn't capitalize.  Quarles lost a point in the seventh round for holding.  The scores were 78-73, 77-74 and 76-75.  

Quarles loses for the first time in his career and he is now 9-1-1, two KO's.  Arnett is now 10-0, six KO's.

  2. I like quarles probobly more than you but you must be on drugs if you think he won that fight.He settled for smothering his opponets punches and therefore couldn't get his pwn combinations off.
    Both fighters threw one punch at a time which made for a very boring contest.I doubt Quarles will get another date on TV with a lack luster performance like that.

  3. Are you crazy ^ that fight was better then him winning. If you know boxing then you know Quarles had to Ko that kid to win. Arnett should of Ko Quarles and since Brandon gave him a hard time and almost knocked him out will prob be a better look for a kid with 2ko's

  4. I had it a draw and why wouldn't he fight on t.v again? He fought a Gb fighter there next star and made him look bad. Im pretty sure calls are coming in

  7. He's still young in his career and brandon fought a Golden boy fighter and made him look bad on a Gb card. why wouldnt he not fight again on t.v?? boring or not that lost was a win
