Alantez "SlyAza" Fox of Forestville, MD scores a first-round TKO over Jimmy "The Dream" LeBlanc of Boston, MA. Fox dropped LeBlanc with a solid right hand and followed with another right hand right on the belt line. Fox beat referee Mark D'Antillo's count but couldn't continue.
Fox, in his first bout since joining the management of Boxing 360, is now 8-0-1, four KO's. LeBlanc is now 13-23-4, five KO's.
Intermission, then the co-main event -- Phil Jackson Benson vs. Terrence Smith.
Correct the paragraph. LeBlanc didn't beat the count!!
ReplyDeleteActually, LeBlanc DID beat the count. I heard the count stop at eight. LeBlanc was claiming a low blow but D'Antillo, calling it a knockdown, saw he couldn't continue.
ReplyDeleteDusty and Fox will be a good fight lets do it
ReplyDeleteBoth of those camps know boxing; so that will never happen. To be truthful, that has to be the dumbest request I've ever read on BATB.They are trying to build these guys, not ruin an undefeated record. Not to mention they are two weight classes apart.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of whether or not LeBlanc beat the count or not, the reality is that Fox would of schooled him (either by KO, TKO, or Unanimous decision). There is no way Fox loses to Jimmy LeBlanc. Lets be real about it, LeBlanc WAS a fighter with potential from 1998-2002 (record was 9-1-3). However since than he has gone 4-1-22. In fact since 2009 he has gone 1-8. Of those 8 losses, 7 were KO's in the FIRST ROUND (the other loss was a DQ)! The only win he has since 2009 was a 4th round TKO over Josh Rupert. So truthfully, he hasn't beaten a legitimate fighter since his win over Luther Smith in 2008. Therefore, there should be no talk of Jimmy being robbed, or that he would of beat the count and took the fight to Fox.
