Harrison, Jeter In Feature Bouts on December 8 Card in DC!

Keystone Boxing promotions ends a busy 2012 with what looks like an all-star Beltway card called "Kings of the DMV" on Saturday, December 8 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

As announced on NewsChannel 8's Sports Talk this evening, Stevensville, MD middleweight Tony "Mo Better" Jeter will be in the co-feature bout and undefeated DC welterweight Dusty Harrison will be in the main event.  Also slated to be on the card are Kevin Rivers, Jr., Jarrett Hurd, Dillon Hayman and Shadeed Floyd just to name a few.  We'll have more on this card in the weeks ahead.

Looks like a good show. Dusty and Tony are definitely the kings of the DMV right now. Barry Hunter fumbled his opportunity with Lamont so who knows if he'll ever fight here again. And Seth Mitchell, well he's trying to become king of the universe and he'll never fight here again under the Golden Boy label for obvious reasons.

Not sure if you can ask for a smalltime club show with a mix of young and old talent.

  3. Hey, what do you mean "Hunter fumbled his opportunity with Lamont...". I thought he was supposed to fight Judah in DC?

  4. Judah turned it down. He's now fighting Danny Garcia on 1/19 at the Barlay's Center for considerably more money.

They went to the next highest rated contender, Kendall Holt, but nothing has materialized.

"Kings of the DMV" Sound pretty damn good. Shout out to Keystone for keeping the boxing game busy. This is starting to get very interesting. I know what it's leading up to; Jeter VS Harrison for DMV King Belt. Jarret Hurd should be fighting for DMV belt in mid 2013. He looks good, stays in the gym, brings a crowd with him. He has all the tools to be the DMV Champ in his weigh-class. Let's not forget Phil "Lights Out" Jackson. He too is an animal the ring. Don't be surprised to see him on a major network in the near future. In closing, I'd like to say that Keystone is doing better than anyone has ever did in the DMV. Keep it up, we are all behind you.
