This has been an incredible year for Mark "Too Sharp" Johnson. First, his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame followed by an appearance as a analyst on Showtime Championship Boxing. Now comes word that Johnson will join other sporting legends at the Collectors Showcase of America event on Friday, October 12-14 at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. Johnson will be signing autographs during this event.
Johnson's appearances will be on Saturday, October 13 from 1:15 to 2:45 PM and on Sunday, October 14 from 12:45 to 2:15 PM. Johnson will join many other famous athletes, many of whom have ties to the Beltway area.
Also slated to attend are:
Legendary Washington Redskins players Larry Brown, Darrell Green and Art Monk
New Washington Capitals head coach and former player Adam Oates
Legendary Baltimore Orioles players Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer and Frank Robinson
Hall of Fame cornerback and DC native Willie Wood will lead a contingent of Green Bay Packers legends including Bart Starr, Herb Adderley, Willie Davis, Paul Hornung and Jerry Kramer
Also slated to participate are NBA Hall of Famers Clyde Drexler, Rick Barry, Lenny Wilkens and Dominique Wilkins along with baseball great Frank Thomas and two-time US Olympic Women's Soccer gold medalist Hope Solo, along with others.
