Rivers Wins Four-Round Unanimous Decision in Pro Debut!

We finally have a bout go the distance.  Even better, the bout was competitive.  However, Kevin Rivers, Jr. wins a four-round unanimous decision over a very game David Warren Huffman.  Rivers did a workmanlike job going to the body, although a few of his shots did go low.

Huffman may be the best 1-8 fighter we've seen in a while.

Co-feature up next -- James McCallister vs. James Denson.

  6. tough kid! He was 1-8 LOL Kevin is good and will make it in boxing, but that tough kid comment is hillarios as this misspelled word. As for the draw comment, I thought Kevin won 2 rounds and I gave it a draw on one. So Kevin deserved the decision. Kevin will def pass Dusty in the DMV. It looks as if Dusty is about done with the local fights and is moving on. I already see he's fighting at The Patriot Center in October. Good luck to you both.

  9. As of right now, there is no official word that Harrison will face Farmer at the Patriot Center. Harrison is still slated for the next Keystone show on November 3.

  10. Spoke to the Harrison Camp this evening and they said not only are they not fighting Farmer but they actually think highly of Andrew. They mentioned they would love to work with him for any fight they he may have coming up. Said the Andrew is a very decent person and would do anything to help him on his next fight. Seemed like they were not that interested in fighting him because of friendship. Not too sure. Harrison Camp did say they they only fight on Keystone boxing shows in Washington DC.

  12. Wish people would not stir up shit like that, Dusty himself says how good Kevin Rivers is and I've heard him several times bragging about Kevin. Dusty has even mentioned that he knew Kevin since he was 8 years old. From what I understand, they both trained at the same gym before. Personally, I think they are both decent young men and they have a good chance at making it big.
