Reed, Kelly, Fall; Davis, Grayton, Ballard, Odom Advance in National Golden Gloves!

Four locals remain in the battle for a national Golden Gloves title as the Tournament of Champions reaches the semi-finals.

One of them is not 141-pounder Michael Reed who fell in his quest for a second consecutive national title.  Reed lost by decision to Preston Freeman of St. Louis.

Danny Kelly also lost in the quarterfinals of the 201+ bracket as he dropped a decision to Owen Minor of the New England region.

Those who are moving into the semi-finals include 2010 national champion David Grayton who won a decision over Patrick Day of the New York Metro region at 152-pounds

Also advancing is 123-pounder Gervonta Davis who won a decision over Joet Gonzalez of California.

D'Mitrius Ballard continues in the 165-pound decision.  Ballard reached the semis with a decision over Anthony Campbell of the Mid-South region.

Also, Jerry Odom advances at 178 pounds with a decision win over Gregory Sykes of Iowa.
