Wilson shows a boatload of heart knocking down Basora in the final round with a right hand. That may be enough but we are awaiting the scores.
And here they are. 59-54 (twice) and 58-55 for Wilson!! Solid bout and Wilson remains undefeated at 12-0, three KO's. Basora is 8-8-1, seven KO's.
Now comes the first of three title bouts. The WIBA Middleweight battle between Tori Nelson and Vashon Living.
Thanks gary for the updates!
ReplyDeleteGary great job I keep checking your updates. Thanks Bryan
ReplyDeleteAs good of a guy as Digital is, and as much boxing as he has watched, a good judge Digital definitely is not. Scoring on this Wilson bout, not even close. Wilson by a mile.
ReplyDeleteyour just some white punk trying to talk your little milky white wilson up.
ReplyDeleteHad it not been for the knockdown, the scores would have been a LOT closer! Wilson won it on the knockdown!
ReplyDeleteGot to disagree with you Gary. Basora was tough and he came to fight but Wilson won 5 out of 6 rounds in an entertaining fight.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that the only thing Wilson critics can point out is the obvious color of his skin and conveniently forget the fact that he is 12-0! In contrast, an African American fighter is 2-0 and he is the next great hope! This is a MAN-against-MAN sport! Leave the color of the athletes' skin out of it and appreciate the beauty of this sport! PERIOD!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gary, the fight was close, but Wilson proved to get the upper hand ultimately, no matter how late it was, and proved to be the better fighter. The last time I checked, a win is a win and you don't get extra points for how "pretty" it was or for the color of your skin. The better MAN won!
Basora couldn't break an egg and he almost knocked out Wilson
