Sigmon Loses Majority Decision in Greensboro!

Jefferson, VA super middleweight Scott "Cujo" Sigmon lost a 10-round majority decision last night to undefeated Chris "The Irish Ghost" Fitzpatrick of Cleveland, OH last night at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. One judge saw the draw at 95-95, but two judges scored the bout for Fitzpatrick at 97-93.

Sigmon's record falls to 16-3, eight KO's while Fitzpatrick remains spotless at 14-0, five KO's. There is talk that Sigmon might be a part of the Patriot Center card in Fairfax, VA slated for September 10.

  2. Scott was really talking trash before the fight. I was at the fight. It wasn't even close. Scott lost badly.

  3. of course he will be part of the patriot center show. He sells tickets, fights tough. the undercard will be full of tough fights....unless jargal is fighting.....just so the main event will come off to be a better fight than what it actually is. just my opinion

  4. Was there. Total break down in fundamentals. As the fight went on Scott lost his punching technique - punches were more slaps. Opponent took advantage of break down with a ton of straight shots.

  7. Don't comment on here much but got to give my opinion here. Sigmon has proved that he is not afraid to step up to the plate and thats more than we can say for
    alot of these people that call themselves professional fighters
    in this area.I'm not saying that he can't fight here because he can.
    What I am saying is that it takes these kind of fights and this kind of experience to get to the top in this busniess.I think we will see an improvment with each and every fight he has.

  9. Just found out that Sigmon will NOT be on the Patriot Center show. He will be on a card at the Staunton Armory in Staunton, VA on September 10 instead.

    Who is Ridgeway? Who has he fought? Why does his name even come up? Because of BS rumors
