Three Beltway Amateurs Advance To Golden Glove Semis!

Three Beltway Boxers remain in competition in the semifinals of the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Indianapolis, IN.

Michael Reed moved into the final four of the 141-pound group with a decision win over Javonn Barnes of Michigan.

At 165 Pounds, Antoine Douglas is in the semi-finals as he won a decision over Marcus Chapman of Indiana.

Also advancing to the semis is Jerry Odom in the 178-pound division. Odom scored his second straight Referee Stops Contest as he defeated Armando Pina III in the second round.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Morales lost his quarterfinal bout at 106 pounds. Gary Antonio Russell lost his Elite Eight bout at 123 pounds and Kevin Rivers, Jr. fell in the quarters of the 132-pound division.
