Undefeated Brandywine, MD heavyweight Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell, who is scheduled to compete on Saturday, March 5 in Anaheim, CA, has been chosen by Golden Boy Promotions head Oscar De La Hoya to be a part of a week-long tour of the Middle East.
Mitchell, along with De La Hoya and fellow Golden Boy prospects Adrian Broner and Daniel Jacobs, will travel in the coming weeks, although the exact date of the trip and locations have not been released because of security concerns. According to Golden Boy's formal announcement, the boxers are "on a mission to boost troop morale, the group will participate in boxing clinics, share techniques and extend their thanks to America's troops serving in the Middle East."
