Peterson, Mitchell Hit The Scales in Las Vegas!

Lamont Peterson and Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell both weighed in for their bouts tomorrow night at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas.

Peterson hit the junior welterweight limit of 140 pounds for his 10-round televised (HBO) bout with Victor Ortiz, who weighed in at 141.

Mitchell came in at 243 for his eight-rounder against Taurus Sykes, who tipped the scales at 248.

  1. Lamont did not deserve a majority draw... He was handed that decision.. You know you got your ass kicked when somebody says that you didn't deserve to even get a draw...

Lamont had some good rounds but Victor murdered him in the first HALF of the fight, which contained a 10-7 round in favor of Victor due to him knocking Lamont down TWICE... It's no way Lamont came back from that...

Not only did two judges score that fight a DRAW, but one gave the fight TO Peterson!!... Smh.... And judges get worse by the year...
