what about Dorin Spivey
ReplyDeleteTechnically, Dorin is not a Beltway-area boxer. He's from Portsmouth. But he did win a unanimous decision.
ReplyDeleteNiether was Joe Hensleys fighters
ReplyDeleteActually, if you follow the Washington Post guidelines of coverage, Rivera and Sigmon and DEFINITELY Wilson are. Plus Rivera and Sigmon have fought more times in the Beltway and have bigger followings.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm right on this one Gary.
ReplyDeleteForget the Washington Post Guidelines.Robles,Rivera, nor Sigmon live anywhere near the beltway and never have.
Gary would you call some of the opponets from philly or north carolina who have fought in the beltway area a number of times beltway boxers?
ReplyDeleteFess up Mr Williams.
You know I'm just keeping it real.
PS. the following they had was 300 votes each for themselves on your contests on this blog.
look, it's digital's site, he can cover whoever he wants. salisbury, md and westminster, md aren't exactly "on the beltway" either. basically, the site covers boxing in maryland, dc, and virginia. and digital can use whatever criteria he wants or doesn't want to use. whether it's hensley's fighters or anyone else's fighters, it doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteThe truth really upsets some people.
ReplyDeleteand your mother and I don't
ReplyDelete"DA HEAT" is about to get turned up on Dave Holland and I'm not talking about Andre Hemphill!
ReplyDeleteIf Spivey is technically not a Beltway fighter than all of Hensely's fighters aren't either. Gary, I think you are showing your true colors this time. I've always felt you tilted toward Hensely a little too much.
ReplyDeleteHollandgate is indeed going down as we speak! I repeat, the eagle has landed and Dave Holland is being investigated!
ReplyDeleteDeep Throat
Hey Deep Throat
ReplyDeleteyou are a coward!
why haven't you gave us your name you scared little child. You've given us all kinds of other information about Dave Holland are you afraid somebody in boxing is going to bust you up when they see you out and about?
What if the things Deep Throat say are true and if he is part of the investigation? Also I noticed that you did not give your name. So who is the real coward?
ReplyDeletewasnt really familiar with fillippone so i looked him up. i have seen willie williams a number of times and he is a good fighter. fillipone must be someone on the rise if he beat williams. when i looked fillippone up on boxrec i see he has one loss and that was a knockout loss to Cujo.
ReplyDeletehe was beating cujo before he broke his hand. He has tried to fight cujo again but cujo doesn't want that fight.
ReplyDeleteyeah, whatever! cujo was taxing that ass so bad he went 1776 on him! cujo taxed that ass so bad fillippone started saying "no taxation without representation!" and then fillippone quit because he knew he was doomed in the third!
ReplyDeletePaul Revere
cujo was losing that fight before frankie broke his hand
ReplyDeleteBeating Willie Williams definately gives him some credibility... & gives Cujo credibility for beating him.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that the Dave Holland supporters are getting their information straight from Dave Holland. The heat has been turned up in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteCujo if you are a man fight Frankie again
ReplyDeletefillipone won the first round. cujo won the second and broke frankie's heart, don't know about his hand. cujo just walked right through frankie in the second and frankie was hitting him with shots but they just bounced off cujo. frankie knew not to come out for the third round and he does not want a rematch thats for sure.
ReplyDeletemy guess is that dave holland or someone who works with him is writing the comments that support holland. because believe me, nobody in boxing or mma support him. they want him gone and from what i hear hes about to go!
ReplyDeleteJust heard it from a very reliable source. Dave Holland is gone by the end of the month! The government takes a while to officially get rid of someone but Holland is under investigation, severe violations have been found, and it's just a matter of time before the official word comes down.
ReplyDeleteDeep Throat
P.S. - You're Welcome!
But Dave Holland is so respected in the boxing community. He did such a good job with the boxing community he decided he would spread the love to MMA. I guess it will be a little harder for some promoters that are in the same bed as him. Maybe VA boxing can be looked at good boxing state that is promoter friendly.
ReplyDeleteFuck MMA up it's rotten to the core ass.Two grown men rolling around on the ground bumping dickheads and loving it.I think you will find whoever is writing these comments about Holland is just blowing hot air to here themselves talk. There is no basis for their remarks it's just wishfull thinking.
ReplyDeleteMe and my buddies approave this message.
Willie Wonka
Sorry you feel that way willie wonka, because I dont. Thats okay, this MMA dickhead will gladly save your boxing ass when Dave Holland is removed! And it's not just talk, he is being investigated and he will be removed. We ALL suffer under the yoke of that sorry, worthless individual.
