Tucker Comments on DiBella Signing!

An official press release has come out on Mark "TNT" Tucker's signing with DiBella Entertainment. It's safe to say Tucker has high hopes for his future.

“I want to stay undefeated, get a bigger fan base, and appear on television more,” said Tucker. "I believe DBE can get me there.”

“I’ve done all I can do for him,” said Mark Tucker, Sr. “We’ve built him up with a fan base locally. Now it’s time for him to get national exposure and national TV fights and we believe Lou DiBella is the right man for the job.” Tucker, Sr. will remain on board as his son's head trainer and manager.

The DBE stable of unbeaten prospects is an impressive one, including heavyweight Tor Hamer, light heavyweight Isiah Thomas, super middleweights Marcus Johnson and Edwin Rodriguez, middleweights Aleem Whitfield and Willie Monroe, Jr., and super featherweight Luis Del Valle.

One more note: Mark "TNT" Tucker is now in fact Tucker's legal name.

Am I missing something here? What's so IMPRESSIVE about any of these guys? I've seen Hamer and Johnson and they can't fight. Whitfield, Monroe, and Del Valle are no big deal. Rodriquez is a decent prospect though. He's about the only one in this list, that is far from impressive, that may be worth a darn.

  2. if mark tucker so good why dnt he fight that kid from SRL ...Alexander johnson..he has been fighting bums...he know it and his father know it and soon DBE will know it

  3. Put Tucker in with Johnson and call it Battle of the Bums. Give em a belt call it the BumWay Boxing Championship. Neither guy can fight.

  4. Be careful Mark, Lou is a confirmed fruit who loves seeing the sac of his fighters in the DBE shower!

  6. Just because he signed with DBE does not make him good. This happens all the time. Well, recently, it happens frequently.

Fighter with gassed up record faces somebody who isn't half dead and gets it handed to them. These "prospects" don't impress nobody because they have done nothing impressive.

WHO THE FUCK HAS HE FOUGHT?? He will step up and get knocked down. Boxing needs fighters who will step up and not survive off of records of which are gassed up.

  7. What exactly has Tucker accomplished "SF"?? Getting signed to DBE by fighting BUMS?? I could do that if I had a manager who could babysit me in the direction.

Boxing needs superstars. Not a bunch of 40-0 CONTENDERS.

  8. Yeah, well, tell that to TV execs at ESPN, Showtime, Fox, and HBO. They want guys with good records because Joe Public thinks that if a guy is undefeated, he's the shit. Joe Public also thinks if a guy is 10 and 10 (even if he's one bad SOB), that he's a bum. It's about getting on TV, getting that money, and getting out while you can still count it. That's the boxing game in a nutshell. There is no money on the club circuit, i.e., from a Promoter's point of view, from a boxer's point of view, from a manager's point of view. Meager living at best that is easily surpassed by a job working at UP Fucking S. There's no money in boxing until you get to TV. And that's for all the players - boxer, promoter, manager, etc.

  9. Everybody judges success on diffrent levels. What to hell have you done? Mark has done alot more at this point than you probobly have. My point is that you are so jealous and envious that you don't want anybody to even get started at having a succesful boxing career. The Tuckers have sacraficed alot and worked very hard to reach the point their at right now.And you say boxing needs superstars not contenders.
What an ignorant statement.Where do you think superstars come from?
The answer to that is they are developed. Some of them go with an undefeated record and some of them
get a few losses here and there either way you aren't the only one who decides who is to become a superstar and who is not.Give Tucker a chance and a little time.

    YOUR BIG DADDY

  10. We will see in 5 years. As I said before, CONGRATULATIONS. Hard work pays off. But dude just isn't good. You know what I laugh at?? If everybody in the DMV area is good and you people nutride them so much..... Then why hasn't anybody came out of this area in god knows when (and please don't list the Petersons who have done nothing of importance)

Sooner or later.... He will HAVE to step up. And when he does, he will get murdered.

  11. There is no question that Tucker is a fraud. Two of his "wins" in Maryland were losses and if those had counted there would be no interest from Lou. Senior sold Lou that the kid was a genuine ticket seller (which he is not, check the real sales for his fights) and that he can fight (Lous has no idea what he is looking at). So Lou will go ahead and put him on an espn card and when he sees what he has will realize that he is in trouble. At that point Tucker will be put in a real fight where he will get his ass kicked. Of maybe Lou tries him out on a Broadway Boxing show first. At that point he will know he is doomed and the air will go out of the balloon. Either way, give it two fights or at most three and Tucker and his Dad will be back trying to hustle some action in Westminster. Fire up the lab boys!

  12. AK:

I, too, wish TNT all the best. But I gotta correct you on the "local talent" comment as only 2 out of the 13 fighters he has faced were from the MD-DC area.

  13. sounds to me like most people here are extremely envious...Maybe your mad you are stuck in the local sandbox, while Tucker is thriving at the beach...and to question his competition? he has fought better opposition then anybody else along the beltway...Bottom line, most people around here are gutless punks not sorth a pint of piss, while Tucker has soared to the next level...keep Hatin...

  14. You are picking on Mark right now ,who will it be next?
There are alot of people around the beltway who are labled stars
and fight bums but you want to pick on Tucker.

  15. ALEC KOHUT GOOD CALL! THESE PEOPLE ARE DUMB ASSES!!!

ALEXANDER JOHNSON?!!?! YOU MEAN THE GUY WHO IS FIGHTING 6 ROUNDERS AND ONLY HAS ONE VICTORY OVER AN OPPONENT WITH A WINNING RECORD (3-2-1)??

TUCKER HATERS KEEP ON HATING THE BOY IS DESTINED FOR STARDOM AND HAS ALREADY BEATEN A FEW TOUGH GUYS. YOU ARE ALL PROBABLY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SAID ARMENTA WAS GOING TO KNOCK HIM OUT AND HE WAS GOING TO LOSE TO RUBIN WILLIAMS.

  17. Also be fair to Alexander Johnson.

He's young, and needs time to develop, I think he needs more power. But give him time.

He's a very nice young man and I wish him the best.

  18. I feel sorry for Tucker, He actually thinks he's a good fighter. His world will come crashing down when he realizes that his dad doesn’t have the judges in his pocket anymore. If he is anything like his last fight… I just feel sorry for him. Good Luck Tucker, you really need it.
