In Salisbury, Dominic Wade wins a four-round UD over Bobby Kliewer. Wade's first time going the distance. Record 6-0, five KO's. Kliewer 10-10-2, five KO's.
It was a very entertaining fight, Wade's opponent was game, but over matched. Somewhat amazing that the opponent, Bobby "Sweet Dreams" Kliewer, survived the second round knockdown. It was about as good a left uppercut you'll ever see. It was very entertaining as I think back, good test for Wade. Passed with flying colors.
Cool, I just saw Bobby here in Mn at an amateur show. His coach said Wade was a lot faster then they had planned for. Bobby said he felt that Wade was speedy and could crack pretty hard. He also said if it was a six rounder he felt Wade might have faded!?
Wade was not fading and six rounds would have been no problem. Kliewer did not embarass himself in any way, however. He fought hard and never backed down, but just lost to a much quicker and better fighter.
How was the fight? Entertaining??
