For the second consecutive time, Capitol Heights, MD featherweight Gary Russell, Jr. needed just one round to defeat his opponent. Last night in Cleveland, OH, Russell scored a first-round knockout over Jairo Delgado of Denver, CO. No official word on when the bout was stopped.
The win is Russell's third straight knockout (he stopped Rodrigo Romero in the third in December) and his fourth in his last five bouts. Russell remains undefeated with a record of 8-0, five KO's. Delgado falls to 3-5, three KO's.
Good work Gary looks like your on a mission your last couples of fights!!!
