  9. Yall are crazy. I don't take anything seriously that people post here. Once a boxer wins a belt at this tournament, they are a national champion. You can't take that away no matter how you want to describe it. All of our DC boxers represented us well. We go to these tourneys to find out how we match up with others. Think about this:

Jordan lost to a guy who has been #1 for the last 4 years!!

Singh lost to a guy who ended up winning the title.

    Aujee lost in the CHAMPIONSHIP.

    Keegan lost in the CHAMPIONSHIP.

Malik lost to a boxer that ended up winning the title.

    Kashif lost in the CHAMPIONSHIP.

Dominic McKnight lost in the CHAMPIONSHIP.

That means that ALL OF OUR BOXERS LOST TO THE #1 RANKED BOXERS IN THE UNITED STATES. That is amazing to me, so stop trying to turn that into something negative.

Regarding our 3 boxers that brought home titles:

Veazey wins in only his 2nd attempt at the National Title. He will have more in my opinion.

This is Harrison's 2nd National Silver title and his last chance as a senior boxer to do so. He will get automatic spot at the National Junior Olympics later this year. Winning that tournament gets him to World Championships in Baku and a chance to qualify for World Youth Olympics in Singapore.

Dickinson wins his 3rd consecutive title and has had to box his way through all of those titles. He still has 3 more years of competition!!

  11. Mansabory Conde also lost the a boxer that ended up winning the championship. So, it is literally 100% of our boxers that lost, lost to the #1 boxer in the US.

  13. Left Brady off. He lost to Mario Barrios out of Texas during his first fight. Barrios finished #2 losing to Abraham Zamora out of Coachella who has a record of 91-4.

  14. Just watched the video, to me it looked like Jordan White won his bout, that was a terrible decision. It also looked like Kashif Brown won his bout, both of those bout's looked very easy to judge

  15. Jordan vs. Nico was a very close bout. It was a 3-2 decision. 13-9, 12-11, and 20-19 for Nico. 12-10 and 15-11 for Jordan. So it was literally decided by 1 pt.

  17. As reported by ArmSport.am, the news that the 2010 World Youth Boxing Championship is going to take place in Baku became known only recently.

“According to the International Amateur Boxing Association calendar, this youth championship, in 2010, was to take place in the French capital of Paris, though at the last minute it became evident that it would take place in Baku,” said Armenian Boxing Federation vice-president Derenik Gabrielyan, according to a source.

“The Olympic boxing competition permits for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games will be allocated during the inaugural world youth champsionship, and if our team doesn’t participate in that qualifier, it would mean that we will lose [the opportunity to participate] as well in the youth Olympic Games boxing championship,” said Gabriel
