  2. Decent night of boxing; however, things will get heated next week. Romelo Webster did lose, but was a very close bout. Looked at partial tape and it clearly shows Webster taking clean shots several times. Especially in second round. Chris Forbes has beaten Patrick Harris twice before and see no reason why he will not do it again. He is just too fast and too slick for Patrick Harris.
Jabar Henson lost most likely because of his older sister getting on judges nerves. Extremely nasty mouth, but two young ones are the nicest young lads you ever want to meet.
Looked to me that Denardo Johnson out-pointed Veazy by far. How many bouts are scheduled for next week? Is the price the same in the championsh

  5. I think Ameer Brown could have fought much better seeing that his asthma had flared up before the bout.I felt it was close and Ameer through straight punch that were easier to score. Both kids fought their best.Keep it about the kids.

  6. Yall need to keep this about boxing, but you also have to remember this is the internet. You can't really react to anything anyone says. Can be anyone posting this nonsense and best to just ignore it really. I'm sure Gary will delete, but there's really nothing u can do to stop except don't feed into that BS. I would say let's be adults here, but kids, teens anyone can post any crap online. I don't want us who are using this positively to get penalized by the dumbasses posting stuff that has no business being posted. Gary decided to allow anons and we don't need to give him a reason to change it--but again, one person can attempt to ruin it for us all. Just remember, anyone can put stupid posts up.

As far as the threats go, don't really believe that anything you do online can't be traced, so I would really recommend that everyone watch what they say. This is a boxing forum people.

  7. Jabar's lost may be a result of his team’s un-sportsman like conduct. We must keep in mind that is for the children and some the language and taunts coming from the adults was unbelievable. Let's keep it about the kids and set good examples for them.

The one thing that I have always admired about the fights, those kids will get in that ring and fight their hearts and after a decision is made they run and play together as if they have been friends for life. The behavior that was displayed from some (not all) of the adults on that team did not encourage the kids to be friends out side of the ring. Not to mention, I am sure that head bangers have gotten a few that others felt they shouldn't have.

For the love of boxing, keep it about the kids.
