Corley Battles Fuller In Patriot Center Co-Feature!

The co-feature for the Saturday, September 26th ICE Promotions card at the George Mason University Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA is set. Former WBO Junior Welterweight Champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley of DC will take on Detroit, MI's Damian Fuller in an eight-round matchup.

Corley (35-11-1, 21 KO's) is coming off an eighth-round TKO of James Kimori on August 15 in Kazakhstan. Corley has won four of his last five bouts and will be competing in the Beltway area for the first time since defeating Darryll Tyson by 10-round unanimous decision at the Washington Convention Center on December 12, 2004.

Fuller (30-6-1, 14 KO's) fought at the Patriot Center on May 12, 2007, stopping Dean White in the third round. Fuller will be trying to break a two-bout losing streak, falling by ninth-round TKO to Tyrone Harris in a bid for the USBA Lightweight title in his last outing on October 17.

One other update on the card: Undefeated Haymarket, VA welterweight Juan "The Savior" Rodriguez suffered an injury in training and will not compete on this card. The main event remains the same: Jimmy Lange defending his WBC USNBC Junior Middleweight championship against Contender teammate Jonathan Reid. Beltway Boxers Bayan Jargal, Tony Jeter and Jennifer Salinas are all scheduled to appear on the card.

  9. Seven years ago, I loaned Joe Hensley $5,000 so he could buy a car. Hensley practically begged me for the money, pleading for help so that he could get back and forth to work and earn a living. I knew Hensley from high school and foolishly trusted him. We did it on a handshake with Hensley promising he would pay me back in full in 6 months. Hensley has yet to pay me back. Over the years he has made so many promises to pay -- all lies. Hensley is a bum.

  10. Word is Joe owes lots of people money.

  11. He owes me money. Hensley sold me first row tiokets to one of his matches, but he ended up delivering me fifth row tickets. He promised to refund me the differences in the price of the tickets but he never has. Its going on almost 2 years. Hensley has dodged all of my calls. Yes, he is a bum -- a lying, cheating one at that.

  12. Jeff B., I got hosed worse than you by Hensley. I paid him for tickets to one of his cards and he said he would mail the tickets to me. He never mailed them. I must have called him 20 times. He never returned my calls. I'm out $200 by Hensley.
