Lynchburg Major League Boxing Card to be Shown Live on Internet PPV!

Here are some more details on an item mentioned during last night's BATB Post-Fight Wrap-Up -- the internet Pay-Per-View broadcast on Saturday, April 11 originating live from the Lynchburg City Armory in Lynchburg, VA.

The Major League Boxing promotion will feature Lynchburg, VA's own Scott "Cujo" Sigmon (5-1, two KO's) taking on Toris "The Bull" Brewer of Charleston, SC (14-2, six KO's) in an eight-round light heavyweight battle.

Also on the card, Waynesboro, VA cruiser "El Guerro" Juan Carlos Robles (12-2, five KO's) facing Pearl Dotson (7-2, four KO's) of Huntington, WV in a six-round bout and Fluvanna, VA middleweight George "Wartime" Rivera (10-4, three KO's) will battle Michael "The Godfather" Corleone of New York City (11-23-3, two KO's) in a six-round contest. There will be four other bouts on the card.

I am excited to say that I will be handling the play-by-play duties for the internet broadcast alongside "The Fight Doctor" Jerome Spears.

The webcast will cost $4.99 and will be shown by going to www.youcastr.com and clicking on the link

  2. Joe this is a great idea.
The only proboblem it might cause is that I might watch it from home now instead of driving to lynchburg.

  4. cujo sucks he is slow, leads with his head, and doesn't have any power! i would like to think they haven't spoon fed him another bum so someone can deflate his ego!

  5. Actually if you check Cujo's record on Boxrec he is one of the least protected fighters I have seen in a long time!He has already squared off with three undefeateds in his young career. After this fight his opponents win loss will be 30-10.He may be slow but there is no denying the ability he has to finish off even the saviest of fighters.

  7. I don't usually exchange words with the haters but if I had to guess who is hating on me, I would say it is a Fillipone supporter or Fillipone himself. If you seen the fight it wasn't his hand it was his heart, he could not hang with me end of story any statement otherwise is sheer ignorance.I am not protected. Why don't you name 3 guys you would like to see me fight after Toris Brewer.By the way, thanx for keeping my name out there.Appreciate the free advertising, hater!!!

I am CUJO and I approve this message

  8. his 3 undefeated fighters combined had a total of 6 fights. you make it sound like he has fought several 12-0 dangerous fighters.

    FF

  9. That's true, but come on, the guy only has 6 fights. Why fight a guy 12 and 0? I'm just responding to the guy that says he is protected. He is far from protected.

  10. What is the ff.I know that is not Fillipone his opponents combined record was a whopping 0-10.What a punk!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. If Fillipone wants a rematch maybe he can get it! Punks jump up to get beat down! Besides, who wouldn't want to beat up on a cop? Frankie knows that if he didnt quit he would have been starched!

  13. Cujo is certainly something to talk about.Along with his confidence he trains his ass off
and does more than his part to keep boxing alive in the state of Virginia. Some would say that he is not very talented in between the ropes but I believe that his tenacity and hard nose attitude will keep him alive and well in the sport for as long as he wants
and that over a period of time this boy will become a good fighter.

    Signed
    someone who thinks he knows.

P.S.He is not a bad fighter now
