Alexandria, VA's Jaime "The Punisher" Palma suffered a first-round TKO at the hands of Marcos Leonardo "El Tigre" Jimenez tonight in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
After the bout, Palma, in a text message to BATB from Puerto Rico, said Jimenez hit him to the body harder than anyone else. The bout was stopped at 2:00 of the first round.
Palma also said that he is indeed going back into retirement and looking forward to his impending nuptials in August. Palma now has a record of 13-13-1, three KO's. Jimenez is now 16-1, 10 KO's.
Jaime keep your head up.

It's okay Jaime. Maybe you got to see some relatives on the island. There are some nice regional matchups for you if you stay in the game. Just a quick check gives us Orji, Spivey, a White rematch, Wilson, Jargal, and Farmer to name a few. Those would all be pretty good fights.
ReplyDeletejaime cant wait 2 see u back in the ring u are always a champ word PEACE RIVERA
ReplyDeletepalma will you fight farmer or jargal?
ReplyDeleteHell to the NO.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Wilson? That would be a good fight between Todd and Jaime.
ReplyDeleteU guys are crazy. All names mentioned would annihilate Palma.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I think he would give all those guys a little bit of trouble.
ReplyDeleteNah...I don't think so. Not even a little bit, unless they can't make up their mind how quick to knock him out so they don't look to bad for even getting in the ring with him.
ReplyDeletedont talk put your name on paper, any of the three would be more than glad to fight palma.
ReplyDeleteDon't let Palmas losses of late fool you.
ReplyDeleteAll he needs is a fresh start with a new group or maybe a someone he's worked with in the past.
The Gripster
we are not saying that,we not going to back down.all he have to say is yes, show that he not going to back down,we not saying we can beat him we just saying, fight one of the three.lets see what happens.
ReplyDeletePalma fight Farmer?!?!? Are you kidding me? Farmer would embarass him so bad that he would have to move back to puerto rico! You need to remember a fighter is only as good as his manager and promoter want him to be, and Palma lost his chance when he did Scott Farmer wrong. I think Palma deserves the ass beating that the "dooman" would give him! Beleive me Jamie isn't that stupid to fight him or Jargal.
ReplyDeleteyour so so right!!
