Corley Scores First-Round KO in Washington!

DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley broke a six-bout losing streak with a first-round knockout over veteran Donnell Logan this past Saturday in Bellevue, WA. Corley is now 32-10-1, 18 KO's while Logan is 11-18-2, six KO's.

Also this past Saturday, John 'No Mercy" Mackey lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Anthony "Ice" Greenridge for the NABA US Middleweight title. The scores were 98-94 and 97-93 (twice). Mackey is now 11-2-1, five KO's while Greenridge is 13-1-1, five KO's).

By the way, I have not received any word on the card that took place in Jacksonville, FL this past Friday night. That card featured Baltimore boxers Willie "For Real" Williams and James "Keep 'em Sleepin'" Stevenson .

  1. I couldn't believe it, for the first time in my life I had to go to the commissions table and recalculate the score cards. 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93 all for Greenidge, I dont know what the judges were looking but thats not how the fight went. Mackey won least 7 rounds clearly, ...

I would like to tell all the local fighters that dont go down to Georgia, because you are never going to beat the home town boys unless you knock him out. I saw another close fight but judges had 99-91 for the home boy. ????

But Mackey will be back! Even better in 2009! Take care everyone, merry christmas and have happy new year!!
