A contingent of four Beltway Boxers will be traveling to a card at Bourbon Street Station in Jacksonville, FL on Friday, December 12.
Fresh off his East Coast Light Heavyweight title victory over Jameel Wilson on November 26 at Martin's West in Woodlawn, MD, Baltimore light heavyweight Willie "For Real" Williams (12-2-1, three KO's) returns to action in the six-round co-feature against Jesse Blount of Atlanta, GA (5-2, two KO's). Williams is unbeaten in his last seven bouts (6-0-1). Blount has won his last two bouts by four-round unanimous decision and is venturing into six-round territory for the first time in his pro career.
Undefeated rookie welterweight James "Keep 'em Sleepin'" Stevenson of Baltimore will look to keep his perfect record (4-0, four KO's) intact as he faces Robert Pelaez of Georgia (0-1) in a four-round contest. Stevenson won by second-round knockout over Amos Collins on the November 26 Woodlawn card. Pelaez will step into the ring after being knocked out in his pro debut two years ago.
Also on the card will be undefeated Randallstown, MD rookie middleweight Cecil McCalla (3-0, one KO) who will face Jean Michel of Atlanta (1-6, one KO) in a four-round bout. McCalla won a four-round unanimous decision over Calvin Aughtry on the November 26 Woodlawn card. Michel will be looking to break a five-bout losing streak.
Also slated to be on the card is undefeated Glen Burnie, MD junior middleweight Lenwood "Mr. Composure" Dozier (4-0-1, two KO's). Dozier is coming off a four-round split decision victory over Warren Freeman on November 7 at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD. Dozier's opponent for the December 12 card has not been determined.
GOOD LUCK PETEY, YOU LOOK LIKE THE REAL DEAL.
