  1. I gotta be honest, I was surprised to see him. Good debut for Jargal though, VERY impressive.

  2. Congrats to Jargal, and congrats to his management for taking a risk that paid off. He's still at the stage where a lot of managers wouldn't let their fighter anywhere near an opponent with a winning record, and Jargal has done it several times. Now come back home so we can see your next KO in person!

  5. I would to Thank the Boxing community for there positive support for a very talented young prospect.Bayan was very focused for his national debut against a very tough and aggressive welterweight-Jr. Middleweight opponent,I want to make it perfectly clear that Bayan Jargal is a true Lightweight, and we have been having problems securing opponents at his weight which is why we once again fought out of our weight class. We would like to thank Paul Williams and George "Junebug" Peterson who helped build confidence in Bayan from a very productive and learning experience training camp,we would like to thank Dan Goosen for giving us an opportunity to fight on national T.V.,thanks to the great comments from Lou DiBella and James Toney who were very impressed with the skills of Byan Jargal, also the support at the fights from Pepe Correa,Simon Brown and Flip Johnson who were at the fight and gave us that hometown support, also the nice comments about Jargal from commentators Nick Charles,Wally Matthews and Harold Letterman ,we think we took a giant step last night and we were told by Dan Goosen that he will keep Bayan busy to help us become the next LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION of the World. We will home for our next bout the co-feature on Fight Night in Washingto,D.C. and maybe onthe undercard of Paul Williams defense of the title on November 29.THank for your support Metro area "we hope we can go all the way"

  6. Shit! He looked ok, just OK against less than medium skilled and no heart fighter. Jargal is tough but he needs to tighten up his deffence or he is going to get ko'd soon against another average fighter likes of Palma, White...

  7. Excuse me but maybe I don't know any better but I think Bayan Jargal is trained by Willie Taylor. At least every time I see him fight (and I have seen him 4 times) including the TV fight. It seems to me that something great must be happening in that Arlington gym where Taylor trains Jargal. If there is a "match made in heaven" it seems it would be between fighter and trainer. What is the problem with giving respect where its due?

By the way, Jargal will destroy Todd Wilson. Prediction in a 6 round fight , 3rd round KO with a body shot!

  8. I apologize. I know Jargal is trained by Willie Taylor, and he definitely deserves credit for Jargal.

Maybe I don't understand the whole picture of Jargal's handlers. Willie Taylor trains him and J.D. Manages/Matchmakers for him?

If that is true, I was commending JD on how he has brought Jargal along with the right fights and getting him up the ladder in a faster/smarter way.

  9. well i guess i will be the first to sine some light on this commen" jargal wil get ko'd soon against another average fighter like palma,white...." haha That would never happen. Trust me No disrespect to either guy but bayan is just to strong for them. That skinny runt palma doesn't have any fire power to hold any body off! Dean is akword wich would present a problem for a while but eventually jargal would get him. But palma definately not!
