  2. A good show. Started on time, well run. The only problems were the officials. Some points were deducted in fights that were questionable, some decisions were ridiculous (Prioe - Petty), and a stoppage was made in one fight with the fighter still fighting back.
Overall, the show was extremely well organized. ProMotion Sports set the standard for boxing shows in Va.

  3. Just a comment from Salem.
The card was as evenly matched as I've ever seen.Scott Farmer proved once again he is the premier matchmaker in the state.
All the locals did not win their fights but they were all competative bouts.
T-Brick shocked the boxing world(in this state anyway) by beating the shit out of heavaly favored Jaywon Woods. Although I didn't see the punch the referee said while Woods was slumped over the ropes that Terry Roy hit him behind the head and knocked him down. They scraped him off of the canvas and put on his own stool
and let him rest for a while and allowed him to say he couldn't continue. The commission ruled it was a technical draw. From what I seen Woods was ready to quit anyway.
Bayan Jargal got the under card fighter of the night and received an extra six hundred dollars for his efforts.Mo Chalmers gave an outstanding account of himself especially after being out of the ring for two years. The Main event and the co main event weren't allowed to compete for the extra money.Guess the promoter thought they were paid enough.
The Main event saw Andrew Farmer
Punish Ceasar Vega and start off by knocking him down in the first round and hurt him on several other occasions but wasn't able to put him away completely.Farmer won every round of the fight but from this viewers eyes should have been able to stop this guy.It appears to me that Andrew is growing every fight and within the next year should be able to challenge for some type of title.
All in all the show was a huge success for PRO Motion sports and this reader hopes that this team of people will continue to bring this type of entertainment to the roanoke valley and maybe even branch into the metro area of D.C.
