Here is an update on the Pro-Motion Sports card coming to the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA on Saturday, August 9.
Front Royal, VA junior welterweight Andrew "Doo Man" Farmer has a new opponent for his eight-round main event bout. Farmer (10-1, seven KO's) will take on Cesar Vega of Louisville, KY (10-14, two KO's).
Woodbridge, VA middleweight Orazio "The Razor" Robinson has been added to the card. Robinson (5-3-2, four KO's) has not fought since losing a six-round majority decision to Jose Angel Rodriguez in Glen Burnie, MD in March of 2006. Robinson is slated to be in a four-round contest against an opponent to be named later.
Undefeated Front Royal, VA cruiserweight Terry "T-Brick" Roy (7-0-1, six KO's) returns in the co-feature against undefeated Jaywon Woods of Danville, VA (7-0, five KO's). Also, Woodbridge, VA welterweight Bayan Jargal (6-0-1, three KO's) is slated to be on this card, taking on Maurice "Mad Dog" Chalmers of Lynchburg, VA (7-7-1, four KO's). Both bouts are slated for six rounds.

what ever happen to farmer fighting rod salka? now, he is fighting 10-11 guy instead? well im glad because that boy rod would have ko farmer in 2-3 rounds.
ReplyDeleteI figured these type of comments would come up from the uneducated
ReplyDeleteboxing people.Records are very decieving just ask Jaime Palma,
Mike Carrigan and others who have been handed losses by fighters with losing records.Ceasar Chavez
fought on ESPN about three months ago and he will be a challenge for
any junior welterweight in this area. The fight was offered to a
number of other fighters including mike strauss who is 7-0 and is out of Pittsburg but he turned down the fight.Salka pulled out of the fight not Farmer so maybe you should , well just leave it at that. Or better yet ,how about in your ear with a glass of beer ,"Jack"
Salka is in the Army reserves. Recently, his unit was called to active duty, so he had to step away from the sport.
ReplyDeleteThats what I thought to Gary but turns out he only had a training excercise(per a letter from his commanding officer)to justify him not being able to fight.
ReplyDeleteIt is, what it is. Farmer did not pull out of the fight the other people did.
somebody always putting down scott farmers fighters.he has three good pro boxers that always come to fight.they dont pick their aponents, scott does.Cant wait to see another show around winchester again. When is the MACK going to fight again.
ReplyDeletefight? I didn't know those were considered fights? haha
ReplyDeleteLike i said anything scott does is never good enough. Can anybody ever say anything good on this blog.
ReplyDeletewhy cant farmer fight anywher but va? Ive heard his record isnt at all correct but his daddy has pick of the judges doent he? I mean he's the promo man And from the fight he got spanked in well just watch for yourself & look at the record of the fighter he beat. Mike Strauss beat him in P.A and would k.o farmer he needs to cut away from daddy and leave his backyard. And did you read his orders Salka's not in the states now he's going to Russia for 2mo. why doent farmer come to pa and fight him there when he gets back from serving his country next year? And for the stupid person who commented on Salkas orders they are what they are orders dummy not suggestions - 1 would think farmers being or trying to be anonymous -
