The Baltimore Pro Boxing card that was scheduled for Friday, July 25 has been postponed until Friday, September 5 at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore. Promoter Jake Smith told BATB he wanted a little more time to promote this card, that will still include the main event bout between Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow and George "War Time" Rivera.
This will make September a VERY busy month along the Beltway. There are already four cards scheduled for the month and one will take place every week of the month. Here's how the schedule looks at this moment:
Friday, Sept. 5 -- Du Burns Arena, Baltimore
Friday, Sept. 12 -- Ibiza Nightclub, DC
Friday, Sept. 19 -- Maryland Sportsplex, Millersville, MD
Thursday, Sept. 25 -- Michael's Eighth Avenue, Glen Burnie, MD
There may be a fifth card in Virginia during the month as well.
Where may the VA card be?
ReplyDeleteProbably Fredericksburg.
ReplyDeleteI heard that there maybe a Sept. card at Henderson Hall? Do you know if there's any truth to this?
ReplyDeleteI believe that will be an amateur card, not a pro show.
ReplyDeleteI think the sept 5 show is off.
ReplyDeleteAny word if Patrick Budd will be fighting on ANY of these cards?
ReplyDeleteoh, so the August 5th at Ibiza fight is now in September? Can someone please clarify, and keep us posted? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo. There is a card at Ibiza in both August AND September! They are trying to run monthly cards there.
ReplyDeleteThere will also be one in October, slated for October 10th.
