Salisbury, MD middleweight Fernando Guerrero put on a dominating performance stopping Valentino Jalomo in the fourth round in front of a national television audience (ESPN2) in the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA.
Guerrero earned numerous standing-eight counts against his opponent throughout the contest before the referee stopped it midway through.
Guerrero, who reached the fourth round for the first time in his career, raised his record to 5-0, five KO's. Jalomo is now 2-3-1.
WOW. Jalomo sucked, took everything that Fernando gave him and was still punching back. Either Jamlomo has a great chin or Fernando can't punch. Please do not let them step Fernando up too fast. Otherwise he will be in some real trouble. He is not a big middleweight and if steps up against a real guy, its all over.Seasoning is needed (and some better footwork), lots of seasoning!!
