Emmanuel Taylor of Edgewood, MD lost a close 9-7 decision to Dan O'Connor of Framingham, MA in the 141-pound championship bout at the US Future Stars National Championships in Colorado Springs, CO.
Taylor was the only male Beltway amateur to reach the championship round.
