  1. I'm glad to see Maryland giving some "older" guys a chance (finally). Boone Pultz, Ray Ruiz, Darryl Holley. Pat Panella is showing some good judgement by letting these guys fight. He has no other choice really. There aren't that many fighters around these days. Besides, a boxer's age really can't be measured in years like an average person. I know some boxers who are in their 30's who have been in wars and who act and talke like they are over 100! When determining if a fighter can fight, regardless of whether he is older or not, it has to be an individual decision every time. You can't make a broad stroke type of decision, like Pat Panella has done in the past, and say a guy can't fight because he's 35 plus years old. Well done Maryland! About darn time!

  2. Nice try Boone! You're a really classy guy, a good guy, and you were one hell of a fighter in your day. You have all your marbles intact and I think you should call it a day. I know you love the boxing scene and you're at all the fights. Why don't you train and manage fighters? You've got a long healthly life ahead of you. There's no need in taking any more punches.

  3. Gary,
Did you check and see how much money was donated to Diego Corales family after the Hilton hotel show?
There were many people paid 350 dollars for a ticket, the cheapest tickets went for 100 dollar a ticket. We need to keep an eye on those two crooks from VA.

  6. Jimmy and Johnny Lange (aka Batman and Robin). They are the reverse Robin Hoods- they steal from the rich and the poor and put it in their own pockets.

  15. I can't believe Boone is still fighting. I remember getting in the ring with him when I was ten years old after he won his last fight in Greenbelt. Stay safe Boone.
