Thanks to this tip from a poster. Believe it or not, heavyweight Corey "T-Rex" Sanders is slated to be involved in a sanctioned bout on Friday, October 19 in Berlin, Germany!
Sanders (23-11, 15 KO's) is scheduled to fight undefeated German prospect Steffen Kretschmann (9-0, nine KO's) on the undercard of the rematch between Oliver McCall and Juan Carlos Gomez. You'll remember that Sanders fought in Trinidad one year ago against Kerston Manswell. This was the week before his exhibition bout against Mike Tyson and the fight took place despite Sanders looking like this:
Just prior to this post, I sent an email to Ahmet Oner, the manager of Steffen Kretschmann, imploring him to not go through with this bout. My suggestion is that you do the same at boxing@arenaboxpromotion.com.
Digital,
ReplyDeleteI sent an e-mail! Let's save the sport, save the sport!
Digital, am I seeing things, or is Sanders blind in one eye?!
ReplyDeleteSome would say he is blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.
ReplyDeleteWhat can a person do that has limited amount of skills.Thats when Promoters should try to use him to do something else.Im so tired of manager useing fighters and when they cant make them no more money its over
ReplyDeleteThey are reporting he weighed 350.5 at the weigh in...how rediculous...my heart goes out to him...he looks very scary in that picture...i know fighters need the money, but someone in his family should be looking out for him..his wife, his mom, his uncle someone....i hope he can walk away from the fight at least how he came in.
ReplyDeleteCorey man, if you read this e-mail, PLEASE leave it alone!
ReplyDeleteToo many people love and care about you for you to do continue doing this.
