Two Beltway 165-pounders -- Dominic Wade and Fernando Guerrero -- have qualified for the 2008 OIympic Team Boxing trials by virture of their second-round victories in yesterday's US Championships competition in Colorado Springs, CO.
Wade, from Largo, MD, defeated Edwin Rodriguez of Worcester, MA 18-12 while Guerrero, of Salisbury, MD, stopped Donta Woods of Atlanta, GA in the second round.
The news was not so good for Capitol Heights, MD 132-pounder Gary Russell III, who lost to Miguel Gonzales of Cleveland, OH, 21-8.
In a female bout, Baltimore 110-pounder Gina D'Andrea was stopped in the third round by Khara Keegan of Arizona.
great win for wade over rodriguez but now it is him against guerro i am going to go with guerrero in this one

Fenando Guerreo because Wade will pull out of this one. You would not understand unless you seen what Guerreo did to Wade over at SGL Boxing gym not long ago.
I know you might think I am crazy but I tell you right now Wade will pull out of this one for sure.
After the first beating he took, I dont blame him for pulling out of this one.
man this crystal ball was right last time, his ass must be out there or someting. i dont think wade is going to pull out,but crystal ball seems to get things right all the time lately..
