  1. Discombobulating-

Thanks for answering that. And keep in mind, besides being naive, I'm also young (just graduated college in May, been a boxing fan for roughly a year). But too loquacious? WTF?

  2. Ahh...The "loquaciously discombobulating one"...(LOL!) Have Thesaurus - will travel! (Gotta love it!)

    * Hey, "The word and the penis mightier than the sword!"

  3. ...Ehh...*Fruedian slip/Typo?*

Should have read: "The pen is mightier than the sword", on that last bit...(lol)

  4. BTW- It's mildly astonishing to me that Boxing encapsulated you as a young fan, ACW. Why do I say this? Well, in the 70's, 80's, and to some extent the 90's - I used to read about the great sport of boxing on a fairly regular basis in my local sports page. But now? Not unless ODLH is fighting, or Mike Tyson "does something". I believe there are a myriad of reasons for this, but the primary one I.M.O?

    "The alphabet soups".

Four or more "world champions" - especially in the hvy division - is a "tough sell".

    One World= One World Champion.

  5. Bizzy, two things:

-regarding that Freudian slip-I guess that gives "make love, not war" a new meaning, huh? LOL

-as for me watching as a young fan, I credit the Lange/Ballard Patriot Center card ~ a year ago for that. I went to GMU and lived on campus, and I like(d) pro wrestling (yes, I know it's fake; we don't need a debate over whether boxing or wrestling is better), and tickets for GMU studends were only $20? I think, so I figured why not give it a shot? I had a blast.

  6. I always tell people:

Once you go to a live boxing show, you are hooked! There is NOTHING like a live boxing card!
